Camping Packing List

Whether you're getting ready for your first Cub Scout campout or you're an experienced veteran who just wants to double check their kit, a good camping packing list is invaluable. The following suggested packing list is a good start for most Cub Scout campouts. For smaller outings or camping on your own, REI provides a comprehensive family camping checklist. Popular retailers for camping equipment include Amazon, Backcountry.com, Bass Pro Shops, Cabella's, Dick's Sporting Goods, REI, Target and Wal-Mart. Another great option as you're starting is Good Wolf Gear, a Herndon, VA-based reseller of clean and lightly-used gear (and which is run by several former Scouts!).
